A Rhode Island native, and resident of Maine since 2008, Rachel has made Mount Desert Island home with her husband, Mathew - an MDI local, teenage step-son, Alister, and two beloved beagles and unofficial R.L Sisson Events board members, Lucy and Otis.

With over 20 years of hospitality experience, her love of nature and thirst for travel feeds her soul and fills her creative cup with new ideas and inspiring concepts that make an R.L Sisson Event as genuinely full of spirit as they are extraordinarily beautiful. From intimate family gatherings to life’s biggest celebrations, Rachel feels a deep sense of pride and privilege when it comes to designing seamless events that personify her client's wishes and exceed their expectations.
